Guided day tours
Full park closure alert
Due to the extreme weather conditions Cleland Wildlife Park will be closed to the public on Thursday 24 January. The site will reopen on Friday 25 January. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Our guided day tours are perfect for families, international tour groups, school groups or even corporate functions.
Tours can comprise a general exploration of the park, or they can be tailored to the specific interests of a group. Generally, a guided day tour includes:
- visiting the Red Kangaroos and Tasmanian Devils
- handfeeding some of the park’s friendly inhabitants, like kangaroos, wallabies, emus and waterbirds
- seeing the koalas in their enclosure
- walking through one of the bird aviaries.
If your kids are brimming with wildlife-related questions such as what is a bettong or can koalas swim and you’re stumped for answers we can tailor your tour to get the answers for all those inquisitive minds. We even provide you with special feed so you can get right up close to the animals.
A standard guided day tour takes one hour, with one guide allocated per 20 group members.
Bookings are essential. Terms and conditions apply. To book please call (+61 8) 8339 2444.
