Work experience at Cleland

Our work experience placements are currently suspended.

Work experience is offered at Cleland Wildlife Park for secondary and tertiary students. Students are required to complete a set of work experience selection criteria before being approved to do work experience at the park.

Secondary Students

The work experience placement is made up of a four-day program from Monday to Thursday. It covers four business sectors within the wildlife park. This program is for students who are studying the Personal Learning Plan subject as part of the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE).

Placements are taken through the school term only. For placements, please complete an enquiry form and submit through the link below including three suggested dates from Monday Thursday in the school term.

Tertiary Students

For students who are studying other secondary subjects as part of South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) as vocational education and training through Registered Training Organisations such as TAFE, and students studying at tertiary institutions, please contact Byron Manning, Curator of Wildlife, on (+61 8) 8130 9003.
