Work experience at Cleland
Our work experience placements from June to December 2020 are full and the application process is now closed. Thank you for your interest in this program. All applicants for 2020 have received notification.
Work experience is offered at Cleland Wildlife Park for secondary and tertiary students. Students are required to complete a set of work experience selection criteria before being approved to do work experience at the park.
The work experience placement is made up of a four-day program from Monday to Thursday. It covers four business sectors within the wildlife park. This program is for students who are studying the Personal Learning Plan subject as part of the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE).
Placements are taken through the school term only. For placements in 2020 please complete an enquiry form and submit through the link below including three suggested dates from Mon- Thurs in the school term.
Please note: Work experience placements until June 2020 have been cancelled and all placements for the rest of the year 2020 are full. Work experience placements for 2021 will open in January 2021.
For students who are studying other secondary subjects as part of South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) as vocational education and training through Registered Training Organisations such as TAFE, and students studying at tertiary institutions, please contact Byron Manning, Curator of Wildlife, on (+61 8) 8130 9003.
