Kids experiences

Cleland offers a number of experiences tailored for children – from weekly pre-schooler activities to our very special school holiday clubs. Every experience is undertaken by our fully qualified education officers.

We currently have a number of experiences on offer, including:

Bush Buddies

Our brand new pre-school education program aimed at 2-4 year olds. Each week children will explore a different Australian animal through storytelling, music, interactive and sensory learning experiences, while exploring the park.

Gumnut Gazette

Cleland’s very own kids newsletter, full of interesting facts and fun activities.

Junior Conservation Club

By becoming a member of the Cleland Wildlife Park ‘Junior Conservation Club’, you will gain access to our monthly activity-based sessions, which are a great opportunity to get outdoors, explore nature and learn something new.

Mini Beasts of Cleland

This tour gives visitors the opportunity to see, touch and learn about the invertebrates here at Cleland Wildlife Park. Included is a visit to the Butterfly Enclosure with the Invertebrate Coordinator, in groups of 4 people.

Self-Guided Trails

This self-guided trail designed especially for children, allows them to explore the nature and animals of Cleland Wildlife Park while learning all about the importance of parks in our world, and the plants and wildlife that live there.

Get active, offline, be-hands on, try new things! Let us ensure your kids have a day full of games, scavenger hunts, animal encounters, educational experiences and nature based activities.
