Butterfly Experience
Due to the recent variable temperatures and unseasonable rain, there may be daily variations for the Butterfly Experience regarding what you are able to see.
Cleland Wildlife Park is home to South Australia’s only Butterfly Enclosure and guided tours are available Tuesday - Saturday. Experience the thrill of walking amongst and interacting with these colourful and spectacular invertebrate and learn all about their fascinating life cycle, the importance of butterflies in our environment and how you can attract butterflies to your own gardens.
Program Details
Availability: Tuesday - Saturday
Inclusions: 10 minute experience with the Invertebrate Keeper in the butterfly enclosure.
Time: 12pm - 1pm
Number: Maximum of 4 people per group
Age: All children (15 years and under) must purchase a ticket and be accompanied by a paying adult. Infants 1 year old and under may enter for free, but must be held by an adult and do not count towards the group number.

This experience will be cancelled if the temperature is predicated to be 36 degrees or higher in Mt Barker.
This experience is not pram or wheelchair accessible. The experience is still available to people with accessibility needs but this will occur outside the enclosure.
