The new Ocean to Outback Education Resource will assist teachers in preparing learning programs before visiting the Ocean to Outback exhibit at Cleland Wildlife Park and provide further learning opportunities and activities on returning to the classroom. The resource focuses on four South Australian environments – coast and islands, arid ranges, deserts and backyards – with references to Cleland Conservation Park and Cleland Wildlife Park. Complimented with a pack of cards that depict the wildlife and landscapes displayed within the Ocean to Outback exhibit, the cards will serve as a reminder and reinforcement for learning and can be used to play many games. The cards are available for purchase from Cleland Wildlife Park.
he Ocean to Outback Education Resource is available for download here (2.1Mb PDF) or with attendance at one of Cleland's professional development workshops.
